Viewers meet a bat expert who takes them to a large cave where thousands of bats make their home. Students also learn about the stages of sleep and dreams as they observe a young girl participating in a sleep study. Students mention three books of interest to them : Amazing bats / by Fran Greenway ; Step into the night / by Joanne Ryder and Sleep is for everyone / by Paul Showers.
