Series designed to introduce students to the study of science. This program provides a general introduction to the human body. It discusses various systems within the body, and outlines how we breathe, move, see, hear, and digest our food. It looks at cells as well as the function of organs. The program also explains the brain, and how it organizes information and controls the body. DVD features include: select chapter ; 'How did they do that?' (a section about how the program was made) ; an interactive quiz ; 'On the web' (references to web resources) ; and, 'Hotspots' (video icons that appear throughout the program and enable viewers to further explore the material).
